Shooting with available light, as I normally do even when it’s pretty dark, gives me the opportunity to play with shapes and shadows. The shadows of migrants moving along the ship’s gangway, which was just out of the frame, caught my eye and I opted to include them in the picture to try get a wide shot which was a bit different.
